common questions and answers
Can running bitches participate?
No, running bitches are not allowed in training.
On the one hand, many running bitches are extra sensitive during the running period and furthermore it is far too difficult for males, especially young ones, to be able to absorb the training.
As with everything else in dog training, it's about showing respect for each other.
What prior knowledge do I need?
You are welcome to train with us regardless of whether you are a beginner or more experienced. The only course that requires you to have trained for us before is the " Advanced Competition Course ".
Do I need a show leash?
The dogs must wear a collar, not a harness. A show leash is recommended but not a requirement.
What happens if there is bad weather?
Dress for the weather! If the weather is really bad and the course is cancelled, we will let you know.
What sweets should I bring?
We recommend that you bring soft sweets, preferably whole meatballs.
Also make sure that the dog has not been fed just before, as it will be more difficult to train if the dog is full.
I/my dog has fallen ill, can we cancel?
If you or your dog has fallen ill and cannot participate in a course that you have booked, we will refund the amount on presentation of a medical or veterinary certificate.
My dog has had kennel cough. How long do I have to wait before I can train again?
If your dog or any other dog you live with has shown any symptoms of kennel cough in the last two weeks prior to your booked training, you cannot participate. Veterinary certificate is required for reimbursement.
If my dog has any serious problems such as dog aggressive, human aggressive, extremely insecure, etc. What do I do?
We strongly recommend that you inform us you have any serious problems with your dog. Contact us to make sure you register for the right course.
Is there anything extra I need to bring?
On weekend courses or courses longer than one hour, we recommend that you bring a suitable cage for your dog, water bowl and water from home. And for your own sake, a camping chair.
